Rosa Sotomayor's Obituary
Rosa Sotomayor, 74, a longtime resident of Florida passed away Thursday, August 6, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was born March 14, 1946 in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico to the late, Jose and Fidela Sotomayor. Rosa was preceded in death by her husband.
Rosa is survived by her four loving children, Rosaura Mikhail of Fort Myers, FL, Javier O. Soto of Melbourne, FL, Juan A. Arocho of New Jersey and Nancy I. Pacheco of Delaware; one sister, Maria Soto of Pennsylvania; two brothers, Monserrate Figueroa of New York and Ruperto Sotomayor of Maryland; 9 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; as well as one great great grandson.
A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from Noon until the service time of the service on Saturday, August 8, 2020.
Anyone attending the services for Rosa the funeral home follows the strict guidelines ordered by the CDC regarding the COVID-19 Pandemic and will require a mask to be worn and all people entering the funeral home will have their temperatures taken prior to coming inside.
