Rose Oliverio's Obituary
Rose Oliverio of Lehigh Acres, Florida passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Saturday, December 12, 2020 while under Hospice care following some recent health challenges. She was 94 years old.
Rose was born in Dearborn, Michigan on October 14, 1926, the beautiful daughter to Lura (Cross) and Arsen Torosian. She was a longtime employee of the Ford Motor Company where she was a pioneer in the information technology part of the company, spending most of her time working with then, state-of-the-art, IBM Keypunch Machines. She was married to the love of her life, Patsy Oliverio, who sadly preceded her in passing back in 2013. She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved daughters Vanessa Oliverio of North Fort Myers, Florida and Drina Boluyt of Ann Arbor, Michigan. She also leaves behind a number of extended family members and a multitude of friends who are truly saddened by her passing. She will be often and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
A Visitation for Rose will take place from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service on Thursday, December 17, 2020 inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. Her funeral service will be celebrated at 2:00 PM also inside the funeral home chapel. At the conclusion of these ceremonies, friends and family in attendance will recess to adjacent Memorial Gardens Cemetery where Rose will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband Patsy inside the Mausoleum located in the Garden of Peace.
