Rose M. Pilato's Obituary
Rose M. Pilato of Estero and a long-time resident of Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 19, 2021 while under Hospice care following some recent health challenges. She was 95 years old.
Rose was born in Brooklyn, New York of September 14, 1925, the beautiful daughter to Francesca (Alagna) and Augistino Milazzo. She spent the majority of her working years in the field of Cosmetology where she worked as a Hairdresser and Beautician until she was over the age of 90. She was the loving wife to Joseph Pilato who sadly preceded her in death in 1997.
Rose leaves to cherish her loving memory her daughters Elena (Sal) and Fran (Michael); grandchildren Christopher(Sarah), Matthew (Missy), Timothy (Marcie), Rachel (Rob), Jennifer (Jason) and John (Beri); great-grandchildren John (Kelly) Tyler, Amber, Callie, Anthony, Brooke, Ava, Gianna, Marianna, Harper, Hayes, Justice, Kiah Boaz and Baysil and Great-great granddaughter Rosina. She also leaves behing a number of extended family members and a great many others who were happy to call her a friend. She will be fondly remembered and lovingly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A Funeral Service for Rose will be celebrated by Pastor Ed Valkanet from First Assembly Ministries at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. Guests will be received for Visitation for a half-hour preceding this ceremony beginning at 9:30 PM also inside the funeral home chapel.

At the conclusion of services in the Chapel, Rose will be laid to rest alongside her dearly departed husband Joseph at the Devotion Garden Section of Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family instead suggests a contribution in memory of Rose be made to Cross Angle Ministries by visiting their website at:- www.crossangleministries.com All contributions in honor of Rose will be directed to her favorite mission program, "Widows in Need in India."
