She was a devout Christian and took pride in her French Canadian heritage. She was the former president of the Ladies of St. Anne, a longtime member of St. Thomas Aquinas in the Brightwood neighborhood of Springfield. Rose, a jack of all trades, enjoyed cooking, gardening, sewing, music, singing in the choir and was deeply involved with many ministries and Christian work. Rose was the matriarch of the family, who placed her love of Christ and family above all else.
