Rose A. Tilelli's Obituary
Rose A. Tilelli of Orlando and formerly of North Fort Myers, Florida, passed away peacefully while under hospice care on Monday, July 24, 2023. She was 94 years old.
Rose was born in Brooklyn, New York on November 13, 1928, the beautiful daughter to Mamie (Manfredi) and Salvatore Di Gennaro. She was proud to be a stay at home mother to her family as they grew up on Long Island, New York and was a dutiful wife to her loving husband Frank who was a police officer and later a Sergeant with the City of New York Police Department. Upon Frank's retirement in 1993, the couple moved to Southwest Florida and enjoyed some wonderful golden years together until the time of Frank's passing in 2010.
Left to cherish Rose's loving memory are her children: Debbie Galante (John) of Long Island and Michael Tilelli of Orlando and grandchildren: Christopher Librizzi, Erica Librizzi, Ashley Librizzi and Alexis Tilelli.
A Funeral Service for Rose will be celebrated by Pastor Graham A. Stein at 12:00 Noon on Sunday, August 6, 2023 inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. All are welcome to join the family for this ceremony and are also invited to be present for a period of Visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of the service, also held inside the funeral home chapel.
Rose will later be laid to rest alongside her husband Frank inside their Crypt located at the Mausloleum within the Garden of Serenity. Details for this part of the funeral are private and will occur at an undisclosed date and time.
