Rose (DeRose) Trabucco's Obituary
Rose (DeRose) Trabucco, 96, of Cape Coral, FL passed away Saturday, March 7, 2020 under the care of Hope Hospice. She was born on October 2, 1923 in Bloomfield, NJ to the late Thomas and Florence DeRose, now deceased.
After a long career with Bambergers (Macy’s) she moved to Florida in 1990 where she worked for a contractor selling new construction homes. Rose was a quiet person who loved to cook and bake. She was always very well dressed and just a beautifully sweet person. Rose was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Nicholas Trabucco; as well as her two children, Robert and Nicky.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Bonnie Prosperi; daughter-in-law, Roseann Trabucco; three grandchildren, Bobby (Jean), Lisa and Dana (Steven); six great grandchildren, Malorie (Vinnie), Madison, Makenzie, Sam, Jake and Casey; as well as three great great grandchildren, Laena, Gleny and Nico.
A Funeral Service will be celebrated 1:30 PM, Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 11:30 AM until the service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow outside in the Christus Garden at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
