Roy Lydeen Erickson's Obituary
Roy Lydeen Erickson of Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 while under Hospice care following some recent health challenges. He was 97 years old.
Roy was born in Kaelliher, Minnesota on April 20, 1923 and was the proud son to Victoria (Lydeen) and Albert Erickson. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy who served during World War II.
Roy will be laid to rest on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Road 72, Sarasota, Florida 34241, (941) 922-7200. Military Honors in tribute to Roy's wartime service in the Armed Forces will be provided by the United States Navy at 2:00 PM and he will be laid to rest immediately thereafter.
