Royce "Ed" Edward North, 89, of Fort Myers passed away peacefully on April 6, 2024. Ed was born March 15, 1935, to Geneva "Marie" and Noble North in East Chicago, Indiana.
Formerly from Evansville, Indiana, Ed has called Florida his home since 2005. Throughout his life Ed enjoyed fishing, reading, playing boards games and Bridge with family and friends.
Ed is preceded in passing by his wife of 60 years, Peggy Ann, his mother, father and brother, Noble "Sonny".
Ed leaves his loving memory with his daughter Kim (Jeff) Hathaway, son Jeffery (Julie) North, sister Diana (Buddy) Bolin, 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren. 1 niece and 1 nephew.
Ed's family has entrusted Fort Myers Memorial Gardens with the tender care of his final arrangements.
Memorial service will be held in Evansville at a later date.
