Ruby F. May's Obituary
Ruby F. May, 86, of Lehigh Acres, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014. She was born July 19, 1927 in Moultrie, GA and moved to Florida in 1943. She was a member of the Baptist Church. She was a wonderful cook and practiced her skills at various restaurants throughout her lifetime. She loved people and never met a stranger. Mrs. May was preceded in death by her beloved husband, J. C. May in 1995 and her son, Gerald J. May in 1977. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children: Ronnie May, Cheryl May Carruthers, Donnie May, Penny May, Sheila Fekete and Sandra May; her siblings: Jimmy Wayne Hiers and Lillian Adams. Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
