Rudolph ?Ç£Rudy?Ç¥ LoVecchio, 80, Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great grandfather, of Fort Myers, Florida passed away on Monday, April 9, 2012 at Joanne?ÇÖs House in Bonita Springs, Florida.?á Mr. LoVecchio was born in South Waverly, New York on March 12, 1932 to Marius J. LoVecchio and Myrtie E. Moon LoVecchio.?áRudy was a Branch Manager with the Westinghouse Corp for 30 years. He proudly served his country in Korea serving with the U.S. Army, 5th Regimental Combat Team from 1951-1952. His memberships included the VFW and American Legion. Rudy loved to hunt and work on old cars.?á He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Joan LoVecchio of Fort Myers, FL; his children, Karen Wood of Fort Myers, FL, Cindy Miller of Ocoee, FL,?á Mark (Jodie) LoVecchio of Coral Springs, FL and Scott LoVecchio of Fort Myers, FL; his grandchildren, Carie, Chris, Jason, Jeremy, Sarah, Jaclyn, Korie, Scotty, Ryan, Marky and Marisa; his great grandchildren Taylor, Thomas, Clayton, Marley, Avery and Jayse; also special nephews, Paul Satterly and Mike Satterly.?á A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, April 13, 2012 in the chapel of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Military honors will be conducted by the VFW Post #8463 of Cape Coral. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.fortmyersmemorial.com.
