Rudolph J. Peacock of Fort Myers, Florida passed away surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, August 16, 2015 following some recent health challenges. He was 84 years old.Rudolph was born on January 20, 1931 in Owensboro, Kentucky, the proud son of Lena (Stewart) and Ira R. Peacock. He was a veteran of the United States Navy during the Korean War and was an engineer in the motor manufacturing industry. He was married to and is survived by his loving wile Ellen E. (Tudor) Peacock.A Visitation for Mr. Peacock will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 AM on Friday, August 21, 2015 in the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. A Celebration of Life will be officiated immediately thereafter, at 11:00 AM, by Paston Erin Sain of Awaken Ministries and Pastor Bob Orton of McGregor Baptist Church also in the funeral home chapel. At the conclusion of the Memorial Ceremony, friends and family will be dismissed to gather later, at 2:00 PM, at Sarasota National Cemetery.
