Ruth Jean Flynn's Obituary
Ruth Jean Flynn of North Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully while receiving care at the Hope Hospice location in Cape Coral on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 following some recent health setbacks. She was 88 years old.
Ruth was born in Chicago, Illinois on April 10, 1934; lived in Stickney, Illinois and worked for many years as a Pharmacist Technician at various retail pharmacies before moving to North Fort Myers, Florida in the 1980s.
She is survived by her loving son Thomas Flynn Jr and many nieces and nephews. She is the beloved wife of the late Thomas Flynn Sr; loving daughter of the late James Sr and Laura (stepmother, Mae) Kozak; dear sister of the late James Jr (Rose, Marie, Irene) Kozak, Violet (Harry) Stranski, Gladys (Joseph) Fessel, Lorraine (Jerry) Hummel.
Ruth was a kind generous soul that was loved by many and will be truly missed.
Immediate funeral ceremonies are private and Mrs. Flynn will be laid to rest alongside her dearly departed husband Thomas inside the Mausoleum located in the Garden of Serenity during a private ceremony at an undisclosed date and time.
