Ruth C. Frith's Obituary
Ruth C. Frith, 77, of Fort Myers, died peacefully on Thursday, July 7th, 2022, following an extended battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 11, 1945 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania to Chester and Ruth Ciesielski, who preceded her in death. As a young adult she moved to Florida, working for the News Press for 19 years. At the age of 40 Ruth became a registered nurse, which was her lifelong dream, caring for over 45,000 patients. She worked at Lee Health in Home Health and Community Care Nursing for 33 years.
Ruth is widowed, as her husband of 28 years, Robert H. Frith, predeceased her in 2017. Her children: Shari Howington-Carlin (Jeff) of Fort Myers and Michelle Jurich (Adam) of Bradenton, FL, Steven Frith, Catherine Morgan (Steve), Glenn Frith (Amy) of Fort Myers, Greg Frith (Terry) of Cape Coral; her grandchildren: Bethany Perik (Mike) of Block Island, RI, Gabrielle Reisner (Brian) of Rhode Island, Ryan Reisner (Bailey) of Knoxville, TN, Zackary Jurich (Morgan) of Atlanta, GA, Kylyn Jurich (Jericho) of Pittsburg, PA, Riley Jurich and Cassidy Jurich of Kennesaw, GA. Kyle Learn of Chicago, IL, Ally Frith, Piper Frith, and Jackson Frith of Fort Myers: her great grandchildren, Willa & Zora Petrik of Block Island, RI. Also surviving is her brother, Anthony Carlin (Janet) and sister Christine Page (Mike) and her furry favorite child, Charlie, the loyal cava-doodle; and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at the Crowne Plaza Fort Myers Ballroom at Bell Tower Shoppes, 13051 Bell Tower Drive. The open house will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., with a special time for sharing to begin at 12:00. Anyone who knew Ruth is welcome to come as you are, share memories, tell stories, and laugh and cry together as we celebrate this incredible lady who touched all of our lives.
