Mrs. Ruth H. Henderson, age 87, of Fort Myers Florida, went to be with her Lord on Monday, Jan. 17, 2011.?á She was born Oct. 23, 1923 in Seaford Delaware to Victor and Dorothy Hill Sr. ?á Besides her parents, Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Henderson Sr., 9 brothers, 2 sisters, and a nephew, Steve Vickers. Ruth is survived by her sister, Eunice Vickers of De, daughter Vicki and husband Wayne Aylor of Va., niece Yvonne and husband Dave Mercer of Md., niece Diane McClay of Mo., and several other loved ones. ?á Visitation will be Thursday, Jan 20, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907, 239-936-0555. Funeral Services will be on Friday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with burial to follow in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
