Ruth Mae Kaintz's Obituary
Ruth Mae Kaintz, 89, of Fort Myers, died 7:20 PM Sunday, January 18, 2015 at Life Care Center of Estero. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, January 27, 2015 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907. Family will meet with friends one hour prior to services. Burial will be at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorials: Salvation Army Ruth was born June 7, 1925 in Avalon, PA, the daughter of Lawrence and Frieda (Wenzel) Vogel. She married Otto Charles Kaintz, her husband of 55 years and he preceded her in death. Ruth was a Lutheran and was very strong in her faith and values. She loved cooking and taking care of her family. She enjoyed visiting Sanibel as she would look for seashells. She was also known as “an encyclopedia of old movie trivia” due to her love of old Turner Classic Movies. Surviving are her children, Rebecca Wolfe and her husband Gerald of Miami, FL, Otto Kaintz of Ft. Myers, Caroline Ruth Lee and her husband Henry of Elko, NV; grandchildren Tiffany Stranz and her husband Isaac of Mosier, OR, Whitney Seifman and her husband Jacob of Las Vegas, NV, Bryce Wolfe of Miami, FL, Brett Wolfe and his wife Lenore of Miami, FL, her great-grandchildren Hunter and Hayden Wolfe and her canine companion, miniature schnauzer, Shal.
