Ruth May Munsell's Obituary
Ruth May Munsell, 93, of Fort Myers, passed away Monday, January 30, 2017 following an extended illness. She was born September 16, 1923 in Miami, IN to Rev. Elmer J. and Bessie (Myers) Clem. In 1971, she moved to Florida from Kokomo, IN. She was a member of Fort Myers Christian Church and a former member of the Villas Wesleyan Church. Mrs. Munsell is survived by her husband of 69 years, Paul Munsell, who she married August 14, 1947. Also surviving are her two daughters: Paulette Munsell Bodem (Bob) of Arcadia and Priscilla Alonzo (Tony) of Port Charlotte; her grandchildren: Jennifer Pettirossi, Deborah Fuentes and Lisa Martin; her great grandchildren: Ashley, Angelina, Ariana, Isa, Joey, Gabby, Katrina, Alana, Deborah and Rachel as well as her sister, Miriam Quirk of Marion, IN. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, February 6, 2017 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Revs. Bob Bodem and Tony Alonzo officiating. Entombment will follow in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Friends will be received from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
