Sallye was a generous and loving friend and I’ll miss her. She strove for perfection in everything she tried. A consummate negotiator, she never shouted or got angry but always managed to get others to see things her way. A woman of great accomplishment in things large and small, it’s difficult to imagine how she would have managed without Sandy’s unselfish support. Who could forget her shout of joy as the boat sped up and she was off for a day of fishing. Sallye cared deeply about her Christian faith, Sandy, family and friends, her garden, cooking, proper housekeeping, and many dogs and cats. It is a continuing joy to me to have received her gifts of love and friendship.
