Salvatore Emanuel's Obituary
Salvatore Emanuel, 82, of North Fort Myers, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2017 following an extended illness. He was born December 19, 1935 in Corona, New York to Victor and Mary (Brunelli) Emanuel. He was a veteran of the Korean War where he served in 19th Infantry of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Fort Myers and Tice Lion’s Club where he was past president of each. He worked diligently in the hearing and eyesight programs. Sal’s main goal in life was helping other people, whether he personally knew them or not.Sal is survived by his wife, Beth Emanuel, who he has been with for the past 34 years. Also surviving are his children: Terrianne Gaudiello and Laura Mirando (Vinny) of Long Island, New York; his step-children: Bernie Murphy (Linda) of Fort Myers, Steven Murphy of Bonita Springs and Cindi Murphy of Fort Myers; his grandchildren: Darren, Scott, Jesse, Meghan, Dannie (Jordan), Nicole, Gregory, Daniel and Emily; his great grandchildren: Evianna, Amelia and Braydon.Celebration of life will be held at a later date.Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907, 239-936-0555.
