Samala Fowler Letcher of Richmond, KY passed away May 11, 2012.?á She was born October 3, 1960 in Fort Myers, Florida.?á Samala was preceded in death by her father, Garland E. Fowler.?á She is survived by her husband, Sammy Letcher; a son, Derrick Smith; a daughter, Jasmine De Rosa (Matt Foley);?á grandson, Trevor Smith all of Richmond, Kentucky;?á her mother, Dorothy Fowler Rouselle; her sisters, Dede Krohn, Carla Godfrey, Galania Fowler(Emory);?á niece, Ashoni Alexander, great niece Jasmine Miller; nephew, Paul Miller, Jr. all of Fort Myers, Florida; a niece, Terri (Jesse) Melton, great-nephew Jesse Melton, Jr;?á great-great-great nephew, Aiden Melton all of Clarksville, Tennessee;?á her aunt, Beatrice Wright of Fort Myers, Florida and many cousins. A funeral service was held May 14, 2012 in Richmond, Kentucky.
