Sandra Kay Huggins' Obituary
Sandra Kay Huggins, 75, of Bokeelia, FL, born July 23, 1938 to Ralph and Dorothy Hitchiner in Jamestown, NY, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2014 at Hope Hospice in Cape Coral, FL. She was a United States Air Force Veteran, a former President of the Ladies Auxiliary at VFW Post 4353 in St. James City, FL and a retired truck driver. “Sandy” had many hobbies and interests, but was best known for her beautiful singing voice. She was also a Senior Idol winner and Karaoke was her passion. She will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Huggins and a son, Keith Alan Huggins. She is survived by her son, Stephen Clark Huggins of Arlington, TX and two daughters: Kimberley Ann Bolton of Cincinnati, OH and Karen Annette Snell of Bokeelia, FL; two sisters: Natalie Gaxda of Cape Coral, FL and Ann Sonderland of Edmonds, CA; ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice. There will be a Celebration of Life service in her honor at VFW Post 4353 at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 12, 2014.
