Sandre L. Reed's Obituary
Sandre L Reed, age 73, passed away unexpectly on July 7, 2017. She had been doctoring and recovering from a surgery in June and doing well. She called a friend saying she didn’t feel well and she died the next morning from a massive brain bleed. She loved life and would never have wanted to live in a state that she couldn’t take care of herself. We are thankful she didn’t have to suffer any more than already she had. She was very worried about another upcoming surgery and seemed to have a sixth sense about dying. Sandre lived in Florida for over 30 years and loved it! Before that she lived in Sante Fe, New Mexico and also in Minnesota. Her hobbies included jewelry making, collecting artwork and dishes, visiting her sisters in Arizona and Minnesota, and she especially loved working at Eileen Fischer on Sanibel Island. She met some wonderful friends there and was happy each day to tell something about them. Sandre is survived by her sister, Sharon (Ed) Niemela, her neices and nephew, Diana (Steve) Olson, Maya (Tim) King, Tim Niemela, Jeanna (Delray) Anderson, Renee (Brad) Reents, Shari (Dan) Hartog, many great neices and nephews, many good friends. She is preceeded in death by her mother, Donna Reed, father Otto Janke, sisters Barbara Janke and Jeannie Freeburg, and her dogs Winston, Rita, and Sparky.Sandre was an awesome woman, full of life, and she will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace Sandre.Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907, 239-936-0555.
