As a friend and university classmate of her son Bob Bradford III, I was lucky enough to be invited to the Bradford house in Connecticut for the Thanksgiving weekend. I couldn't afford to fly home to Seattle from New Jersey, so I was welcomed in like family. I fondly remember Mrs. Bradford (Sarah) cooking a delicious dinner while us lazy boys came in and watched TV after a rough morning of Turkey Day football. She'd make sure we were on our manners and helpful for clean-up and such :), but her warmth, generosity, and energy were unmistakable. I feel lucky to know her and to have been so welcomed in. I'm sure she is in heaven now holding court and delighting many wonderful spirits again.
All of you are in my thoughts,
Yusuf Mehdi
