Schemanun Theodora-Amphilochia (Kristie Lee Butler)'s Obituary
The reverend Mother and Great-schemanun Theodora-Amphilochia fell asleep yesterday morning at 9:30 a.m. In the world, her secular name was Kristie Lee Butler. On Thursday, April 2nd, beginning at 11:00 a.m., Mother Theodora-Amphilochia will be in the Saint Nektarios Church at 111 Evergreen Road, North Fort Myers, Florida, 33903 (enter through back side of building please) where you may visit her to pay your respects and pray that she may have a good trip to Paradise. At 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, the Softening of Evil Hearts Holy Myrrh-Streaming Icon of the Mother of God, from Russia, will be in the Church with Mother. An Akathist hymn will be celebrated before the Holy Icon and a litiya for the departed will be prayed. The Sacred Icon will leave promptly at 1:30 p.m. Mother’s funeral service will be held at Saint Nicholas Monastery on Friday, April 3rd, at 8:00 a.m. Following the funeral service, a meal will be served in the Monastery trapeza. She will be interred that afternoon at Memorial Gardens, 200 West Copans Road, Pompano Beach, Florida, 33064, sometime between 3:00 and 4:00 in the afternoon, depending upon travel time.Please pray she may always be alive to us.
