Scott P. Fileman's Obituary
Scott P. Fileman, 53, of Fort Myers, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2014. He was born June 28, 1961 in Jacksonville, FL. He was raised in San Diego, CA. While in high school, he excelled in wrestling placing third CIF in San Diego County. With a full scholarship in wrestling, he graduated from Chico State University where he received his Bachelor’s degree in finance. In 1989, he moved to Florida and in 2004, came to Fort Myers. He owned and operated SPF & Associates where he sold Legacy Cabinets. Scott leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 22 years, Kit Clark-Fileman; his children: Taylor, J.P. and Saige, all at home; his siblings: Debbie Baker and Rick Fileman, both of California and his mother, Katherine Fileman of Chico, CA. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Friends will be received from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at: woundedwarriorproject.org/donate.
