Seymour Leonard Shecht's Obituary
Leonard Shecht of Fort Myers, FL passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015 at HealthPark Medical Center of Fort Myers. He was 92. He was born November 13, 1922 in Akron, OH to the late David and Anna Berloff Shecht. Leonard had retired as an automobile salesman. He proudly served in the US Navy during WWII aboard the USS Wileman where he earned several accommodations. He is survived by his wife Margaret “Peggy” Shecht; sons, Steven Shecht of Pearland, TX, Barry Shecht of Dallas, TX and Bradley Kirkland of N. Fort Myers, FL; grandchildren, Mikel (Lauren), Marcee, Kris and Andrea. He is also survived by his great grandchildren, Ethan and Dylan. Graveside services will be 12pm Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery 1589 Colonial Blvd. Fort Myers, FL.
