Sharon Lee Francis, 78, of Punta Gorda, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018. She was born June 11, 1939 in Flushing, MI to Ellis and Greta (Fairbanks) Bristol. She and her husband moved to Florida from Michigan in 2000. Mrs. Francis was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church and enjoyed knitting, reading, gardening and old TV shows.Mrs. Francis is survived by her husband of 59 years, James R. Francis; her children: Tamara L. Sykes (David), Traci L. Vandecandelaere (Gerard) and Teresa L. Cox (Matthew); her sister, Sandra Chapin and four grandchildren: Michael, Marisa, Aaron and Asya.A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday at Bethany Lutheran Church, 264 Evergreen Road, North Fort Myers, FL 33903.Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907, 239-936-0555.
