Sharon Frame Hunter's Obituary
Sharon Frame Hunter, 80, of Fort Myers, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2014. She was born December 12, 1933 in Parkersburg, West Virginia to the late H. Whayne and Alice I. (Suter) Funk and moved to Fort Myers from Naples in 1991. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Fort Myers, the Junior League and volunteered for St. Joseph’s Hospital, both while in West Virginia. She was also a member of the Cross Creek Estates Tennis Team. Mrs. Hunter leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 60 years, Gerald W. Hunter; her daughter, Sally Hunter Garshell of Charleston, SC, her granddaughter, Holly Hunter Pritchard and her sister, Patricia Martin and husband, Larry of Delaware. She was preceded in death by her son, Douglas A. Hunter in 1998. Memorial services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Friends will be received from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service.
