Sharon Nadine Littrell's Obituary
Sharon Nadine Littrell, 82, a resident of Fort Myers, FL since 1972, formerly of Indiana passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 6, 2024 under the care of Hope Hospice. She was born April 25, 1941 in Geneva, IN to the late Richard and Leatha (nee Arnold) Stanley. She was especially close to her father, and considered him her best friend.
Sharon was raised on a small farm, and learned to love nature, especially butterflies, gardens and waterfalls. Defeating a bout of polio made it necessary for her to use a wheelchair most of her life, but did not stop her from nurturing 3 generations of children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Rubin Littrell and sister, Shirley Coates.
Sharon is survived by her loving daughters, Felicia Littrell Kerr (Omar) of Lehigh Acres, FL and Betty Rachelle Layne of Houston, TX; one sister, Carol Bailey of Indiana; five adored grandchildren, Tre', Destiny, Nani, Omarion and Tru; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
