As part of Sharon's extended Harris family, it was sad news to hear of Sharon's passing since in our most recent conversations she seemed to be enjoying her life at the retirement home where she was residing. As a Harris, Cheryl got to enjoy the closeness of this family of which Sharon's mother was the matriarch. For Frank this closeness of family was felt in the many times spent at the Harris household Sunday evenings after Young Peoples at the Harris family church in St. Thomas. The nurturing of Val and Denny played an important part in our growing up and in that of Sharon who adopted that loving and caring quality of her parents. We also have fond memories of visiting Sharon and Don in Nazareth while on our honeymoon and dining with them in Fort Myers where we got to experience the directorial talents of Don in one of his productions. Just as the many patients got to appreciate the compassion Sharon always demonstrated, we always saw that lifelong characteristic anytime we were together with her and Don. We will miss having those memorable visits with Sharon in the future.
