Shelia Joanne Futch's Obituary
Shelia Joanne Futch, a beloved lifelong Florida resident, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2024, in Cape Coral, FL. She was 91 years old.
Born on November 17, 1932, in Fort Myers, FL, Joanne was the cherished daughter of the late Bonni Roston and Antoinette Davis. Throughout her life, she embraced the natural beauty of her home state, finding solace and joy in the vibrant colors of flowers and all things beautiful. Joanne’s love for nature extended beyond her garden.
In addition to her love for nature, Joanne was a devoted mother, sister, grandma, friend and neighbor. Her warm smile and kind heart touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on the community she called home.
Joanne is survived by her four loving sons, John Allen Johnson and his wife, Karen of Fort Myers, FL, William Steven Johnson of Mt. Olive, NC, Gary Michael Johnson of N. Ft. Myers, FL and Wayne Kieth Futch and his wife, Kelley of Inglis, FL; one brother, Richard Davis and his wife, Ellen of Cape Coral, FL; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
May Joanne’s spirit continue to bloom in the hearts of those who loved her.
A Graveside Service will be celebrated 9:30 AM, Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL.
