Sherry Lynn Monscour's Obituary
Sherry Lynn Monscour, 74, of Estero, Florida passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 22, 2022.
She was born on December 11, 1948 in Des Moines, Iowa to the late Betty Snethen and Paul Strome. Sherry graduated from North High School in 1966 and received an A.A. degree in Liberal Arts from Monroe County. She was married to Michael Monscour in 1971. Sherry is survived by her loving husband of fifty-one years Michael Monscour and her three sons, Jeffery (and Dawn) Monscour, Richard Monscour, and Christopher Monscour of Fort Myers, Florida. She is also survived by her two grandchildren Noah and Ethan and her beloved Hannah.
A Memorial Service for Sherry will be held on July 9, 2022 will be celebrated by Pastor Graham Stein at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, July 9, 2022 inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. Guests will be received for a time to gather and express their condolences to the family for an hour prior to this ceremony beginning at 11:00 AM also inside the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the A.S.P.C.A. in Sherry’s honor.
Sherry was a wonderful mother and devoted wife. Sherry enjoyed making arts and crafts and spending time with family. She adored her grandchildren and loved being a grandmother. She will be sadly missed and will always hold a special place in our hearts. She will never be forgotten.
