Sherry Paloci's Obituary
Sherry Paloci, 73, of Fort Myers, Florida, and formerly of Youngstown, Ohio, passed gently on August 17, 2021, after a long fight with cancer.
Sherry graduated from Chaney High School in Youngstown in 1966, the daughter of James and Frances Sues. She and her husband raised two successful children and were entrepreneurs of the family businesses together.
She was beloved by all, her heart always open, and never had an unkind word for anyone. She will be remembered for her compassion, generosity, selflessness, patience, determination, and lasagna. She never gave up, always offered a smile, and gave everything of herself to her family and friends.
She will be missed by her husband of 50 years, Hank Paloci Jr.; her children, Hank Paloci III of Los Angeles, California, and Brooke DeCarlo (and husband David) of Fort Myers, Florida; her sister, Frances Reents (and husband Gary) of Tipp City, Ohio; her seven grandchildren; nieces; and by many loving friends.
A golf enthusiast, Sherry played often and served as the President of the Ladies Golf Association at Fiddlesticks Country Club, Fort Myers, FL where they were members for the past 22 years. She was a very active member in several the ladies golf groups often taking on the role of commissioner. Sherry never stopped improving herself in golf or in life and was very proud of her three holes-in-one.
