Shirley Ann White's Obituary
Shirley Ann (nee Harvey) White of Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 11, 2020. She was 90 years old.
Shirley is survived by her two children, Mary Jean Botbyl (Jerry) of Ringwood, NJ and by William H. White. Also, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Sadly, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years, Lt. Col. William Emerson White (USA-RET), who passed away in 2017.
After many different billets during Bill's military career, the couple and their family moved to Franklin Lakes, NJ where they lived for 12 years retirement, Bill and Shirley moved to Long Beach Island, NJ. They eventually settled in Fort Myers, FL where Bill and Shirley lived since 1994 She was a member of the St Luke’s Episcopal Church.
A Funeral Service for Shirley is being planned at St. Lukes Episcopal Church in the near future. Please check with a family member, the church or back here for more information concerning this service which will be posted as soon as further information becomes available. Shirley will be buried at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery and will be laid to rest alongside Bill.
