Sidney Tobias' Obituary
Sidney Tobias, 67, of Cape Coral, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014 following an extended illness. He was born November 21, 1946 in Bronx, NY and moved to Cape Coral from Long Island, NY in 1993. He served the U.S. Army in the Vietnam War and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Cape Coral. Sid leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 48 years, Ronnie Tobias, his children: Joe Laxton of Valley Stream, NY, Cathy Tobias of Cape Coral, Sidney J. Tobias of Warner Robbins, GA and Valerie Morales and husband, Robert of South Amboy, NJ; his grandchildren: Joseph, Carissa, Emily, Jennifer, Gina, Erin, Katie and Bobby and his sister, Dorothy Curtis of Jupiter. A celebration of Sid’s life will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at Ralph’s Place in the Big John Plaza, 1305 Cape Coral Parkway East, Cape Coral. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice, 9470 HealthPark Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908.
