Stacy Ann Prekop, 53, a cherished resident of Cape Coral, FL since 2009, formerly of Royal Oak, MI, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, in Fort Myers, FL. Born on March 14, 1971, in Detroit, MI, Stacy was a beacon of compassion, always extending a helping hand to anyone in need. Her friends remember her as having a heart of gold.
Stacy's free spirit thrived on spending time with her friends, whether she was trying her luck at the casino, savoring cocktail hour, or embarking on various trips. Her generous and adventurous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Se was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon Hosang.
Stacy is survived by her loving husband of 7 years, Terry Prekop of Cape Coral, FL; father Hugh (Ed) Hosang, three sons, Toby, Jason and Randy; one sister, Dawn (Brian); one brother, Joey (Kim); adored grandchildren Paisleigh, Dawsen, and Jensen; nephews Ethan and Tanner; as well as many many extended family members and friends.
A Funeral Service will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 10:00 AM until the service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Cremation rights will be accorded, Stacy will then be placed in the Field of Honor section of Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fort Myers, FL.
