I was Stan's tax guy and also a friend. We attended many FGCU basketball games together. I'll always remember how he was on top of that great run they had many years back. Convincing me that I had to go with him to check out this Freshman point guard who turned out to be a pretty good college point guard.

It was with great sadness that I learned of Stan's passing. I first met Stan when he moved to Grand Marais, where I was able to share in his growth as a person, entrepreneur and community member. I am proud to have called Stan a friend and deeply saddened by his loss. His expressions, smiles and personality will be surely welcomed on the other side.
