Stanley "Rob" Brylinski Jr's Obituary
Stanley “Rob” Brylinski Jr., a beloved resident of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away on July 7, 2024, at the age of 63. Born on June 17, 1961, in Wilmington, Delaware, Rob was the cherished son of Stanley and Margaret Brylinski.
Rob’s love for the water began on Long Beach Island as a child, but his hunger for sun and fun brought him to Florida three decades ago. His passion led him to establish “Rob & Sons Marine,” a thriving business where he meticulously worked on yachts with his son Neil. His skilled hands and unwavering commitment to craftsmanship left an indelible mark on the boating community. Adding to his love for the water, Rob enjoyed a good tackle with any fish that would snag his line. He bonded closely with his son's on the water, competing to see who can catch the most unique and biggest fish! In addition, Rob loved strengthening his friendships and his son Neil with hunting trips and adventure.
Beyond the waves, Rob found solace on two wheels. Whether cruising along scenic highways or exploring hidden trails, his Harley was his faithful companion. The wind in his hair and the open road ahead—these were the moments that fueled his spirit. But it wasn’t just the roar of engines that captivated Rob. Paddleboarding became his meditation—a way to glide across serene waters, connecting with nature. He reveled in the stillness, finding peace in the gentle rhythm of each stroke.
Rob leaves behind a legacy of passion, adventure, and unwavering love for the water, his family and friends.
He is preceded in passing by his father Stanley Robert Brylinski, Sr.
Rob leaves his loving memory with his survivors, mother Margaret of St Johns, FL, sons Neil of Fort Myers, FL and Kyle of Portland, OR, sisters Susan (Tim) of St Johns, FL and Nancy of Hillsborough, NJ, girlfriend and caregiver Leilaini of Fort Myers, FL and lifelong best friend, Billy, of Daytona Beach ,FL and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Rob’s family has entrusted Fort Myers memorial Gardens with the tender care of his final arrangements. At this time there are no services for Rob.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice, Cape Coral, FL or the American Cancer Society.
