Stanley A. Sikora's Obituary
Stanley A. Sikora of Cape Coral, Florida passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 19, 2021 while receiving care at Cape Coral Hospital following some recent health challenges. He was 82 years old.
Stanley was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 19, 1938, the proud son to Mary (Chmura) and Alex S. Sikora. He spent his career as a union tradesman and worked primarily in building construction as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed his life after retirement in Southwest Florida and was an avid boater and fisherman.
Stanley leaves to cherish his memory his son Chris (Molly); daughter Michelle; grandchildren Alicia (Matt), Isabel, Christopher Jr., Alex, Chase and Elijah; great grandson Jackson; brother Joe (Jayne) and his Cousin Wally (Colleen.) Sadly, he was preceded in death by his parents, his son Stan and his sisters Janet and Terry. Stanley also leaves behind a number of extended family members and countless others who were proud to call him a friend. He will be warmly remembered and fondly missed by everybody he knew.
A Funeral Service for Stanley will be celebrated at 12:00 Noon on Friday, August 27, 2021 inside the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555. Guests will be received for a two-hour period of Visitation beginning at 10:00 AM also inside the funeral home chapel.

At the conclusion of these ceremonies, those in attendance will recess to adjacent Memorial Gardens Cemetery where Stanley will be laid to rest inside the Mausoleum located inside the Garden of Serenity.
