Stephen D. Hoffman's Obituary
Stephen D. Hoffman, 60, of Fort Myers, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2014. He was born December 6, 1953 in Detroit, MI and moved to Florida from Jackson, MI in 1972. He proudly served the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and enjoyed fishing, boating, music and collected and repaired antique watches. Mr. Hoffman leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 31 years, Margaret A. Hoffman; his children: Stephanie Olivarez and husband, Joseph of Cape Coral and Erica Hoffman of Fort Myers; his mother, A. D’Ette Fortiner of Fort Myers; his siblings: Eric Hoffman of Cape Coral, Sidne Turnbull of Fort Myers and Wynette Dooley of Delray Beach and his step-grandson, Alex Olivarez. He was preceded in death by his son, Brett Hoffman and his Father Jim Hoffman. Memorial services will be held at 11am Saturday, February 15th at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 2439 McGregor Blvd., Fort Myers with inurnment to follow in Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery with military honors conducted by the U.S. Navy.
