Patti, I worked with your Dad at Art's Auto way back in the 70's and what a wonderful man he was to work for. He always had a smile on his face and was just a joy to be around. He took me under his wing a little and helped me grow up. The last time I saw him was in TC a few years back and I saw him at WalMart. As usual, I got a huge hug and warm smile. For many years my husband (Larry King) would send me to Arts to pick up parts for him. Just as his obituary says, Sterling was always smiling and so friendly and always kidding me. I would walk out of there with a smile on my face. When Larry and I adopted our family Sterling was so happy and proud of us. He was someone we both admired and looked up to. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Brenda King

I was lucky to know your father, as a Boss and GREAT friend. He taught me to NEVER tell a customer you couldn't help them, when they needed a part. Always find the part and give them a price and than its always in their court, to either buy from us or go elsewhere. Patti, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your sons of your lost, and myself I'll miss my friend and our long distance phone calls.
