Steven B. Isenberg's Obituary
Steven B. Isenberg of Port Charlotte, FL, 72, passed away on Tuesday, July 1st, 2014. The son of Ruthye Isenberg of Salem, NH and the late Irving Isenberg. He was born in Boston on April 27, 1942. Steve served in the US Army as a young man. Steve retired as the owner of Steven Barri Salons located in central and northern New Hampshire and Vermont. He was an avid outdoorsman and motorcyclist. He was happiest when with his family, afield chasing ruffed grouse or astride a motorcycle, especially Harley-Davidsons in his later years. He was a proud man who walked his own path and left a trail for others to follow.Steve is survived by his wife Beverly (Winer) Isenberg and their children – Bethany Isenberg of Brussels, Belgium, and Seth B. Isenberg & his wife Amber J. Keyser of Portland, Oregon and his grandchildren, S. Fisher Isenberg & Beryl Isenberg. Steve was the brother of Karen Weinstein and her husband Marty of Salem, NH. He is also survived by four nephews (Jay Parham, Wess Weinstein, Brett Weinstein, and Shad Weinstein), and cousins including Stephen Kenion, Paul, Eric, and Lisa Berenson.Steven will receive a military burial at Sarasota National Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Steve’s honor to the Wounded Warrior Project (woundedwarriorproject.com/donate) or the Disabled American Veterans (DAV.org).
