Steven Warren's Obituary
In loving memory of Steven Warren, born in Goshen, New York, on March 5th, 1958, to Myrtle Ellison and Arthur Warren. As the youngest of three children, with siblings Chuck and Linda, he faced a challenging childhood, where his sister played a crucial role in his upbringing. The family later moved to Florida, where Steven spent the remainder of his days.
A true outdoorsman and skilled roofer for over 30 years, he found joy in fishing and working on muscle cars, race cars, and trucks. His love for the outdoors was only matched by his passion for music, embracing various genres beyond Ozzy Osbourne, creating a diverse soundtrack to his life, especially during his battle with COPD.
Steve was not only a master of his craft but also a wonderful father, great friend, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Renowned for his culinary skills, he was the go-to for ultimate fried chicken and oyster dishes, delighting family and friends. Steve enjoyed an ice-cold Budweiser and, despite the challenges, held a special affection for Marlboro Reds.
Known as a no nonsense kind of guy, Steven stood his ground for who and what he believed in. Behind closed doors, he harbored a quiet admiration for Taylor Swift, a fondness he kept discreet, too embarrassed to openly acknowledge. Among the cherished memories his children and grandchildren hold, even during his final days, are the times spent jamming out to music with him. In one of his last moments, he played an air guitar to a recorded Ozzy Osbourne concert, epitomizing his zest for life and live music.
Steve peacefully passed away in his daughter's home, surrounded by his children and grandchildren. He expressed deep gratitude for everyone who played a role in his care and visited him during his final time on earth. May he rest in eternal peace, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, culinary expertise, a diverse musical passion, and the joy of shared moments with his family.
