Susan Lynn Frohlin's Obituary
Susan Knight Frohlin, 74, Fort Myers, passed away on August 1, 2016. She was born in Chicago, Illinois, was a graduate of Southern Methodist University and a proud member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. After marrying the love of her life, Gary, they moved many times, eventually settling in Colts Neck, New Jersey in 1970, to raise their family. In 1992, they moved to Fort Myers to live near Susie’s parents.Susie is survived by her husband, Gary R. Frohlin, daughter, Hilary Frohlin Hoffman, granddaughter, Hayley E. Hoffman, and daughter, Robyn Frohlin. She was predeceased by her parents, Donald (2001) and Helen Nyweide Knight (2000).Those who knew Susie say she was most proud of her 52 year marriage to her devoted husband, Gary; her loving daughter, Hilary; and especially her granddaughter Hayley, for overcoming many obstacles to achieve her dreams of studying veterinary medicine at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. Her only regret was that she would not see Hayley’s graduation in 2019.A Memorial Service for Susie will be celebrated at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 6, 2016 inside the Chapel at the Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, FL, 33907, (239) 936-0555. Visitation begins at 1:00 PM.
