Susan "Susie" Marie Bray's Obituary
Susan (Susie) Marie Bray, passed away on Monday, April 15, 2013. A native of Fort Myers, she was born December 3, 1953 to Lalla and Ellie B. Payne, Jr. She worked at the Fort Myers News-Press for forty years. Susie was preceded in death by her parents, Lalla and Ellie B. Payne, Jr. Susie is survived by her loving husband of forty years, Lonnie ?Ç£David?Ç¥ Bray, and her daughter, Amy (Edward) Shidler and grandson, Mark Shidler, and by her son, Dr. David Ellie B. Bray and grand-dog, Jackson. Also, she is survived by her sisters, Debbie Burton, Karen Payne, and Pamela Robidoux, and many nieces and nephews. Susie enjoyed spending time with her family most of all. Her other hobbies included watching the Miami Hurricanes play football, mud bogging, and watching her grandson play flag football. Her memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Grace Baptist Temple, 19084 North Tamiami Trail, North Fort Myers, Florida. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to One Breath at a Time Foundation, 3104 N. Armenia Avenue, Suite 5, Tampa, Florida 33607-1601.
