Terrell B. Stagner's Obituary
Terrell Stagner of Fort Myers, FL and Martinsville, IN passed from this life Saturday January 10, 2015 with his loving family by his side. He fought a lengthy battle with melanoma and never gave up hope.Terrell was born March 3rd 1945 in Wilialla, KY. He was preceded in death by parents Hubert T. Stagner, Eunice L. Stagner and brothers Harold W. Stagner and Karl V. Stagner. He leaves behind his wife of almost 50 years Teresa Ratts Stagner, daughter Tracey L. Stagner of Naples, FL, grand dogs Cibby and Tuli as well as several nieces and nephews.Terrell graduated from Eminence High School in 1963 then graduated from Rose- Hulman Institute of Technology in 1967 as a mechanical engineer. He was then employed by Eli Lilly and Company for 29 years where he was able to travel the world. His work also took him to Fresno, CA for a number of years where he and his family enjoyed the California lifestyle.After retirement Terrell and Teresa spent most of their winters in Florida where they started another phase of life including new friends and adventures. Terrell enjoyed golfing, fishing, reading, riding his Harley, boating, and snow skiing. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.A Memorial Gathering will be held from 10-11:00 AM on Friday, January 16, 2015 in the Chapel at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 1589 Colonial Boulevard, Fort Myers, Florida 33907, (239) 936-0555.
