Theodore Heligman, 88, passed away June 7, 2011.?áHe was born August 8, 1922 in St. Louis, MO to the late Albert and Rose (Chersky) Heligman.?áBefore living in Fort Myers, Mr. Heligman lived in Sarasota, Detroit and Chicago.?áHe enjoyed painting, sculpting, reading war history, opera, traveling and he worked his last 15 years teaching arts and crafts on cruise ships. ?á He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Carol; sons, Robert of Livonia, Michigan, David (and his wife, Janice) of Fort Myers, Florida, Richard (and his wife Donna) of West Bloomfield, Michigan; daughter, Marcia (and her husband, Bruce) Cole of Liberty, Illinois; brother Jerome Heligman of St. Louis, Missouri; sister, Betty Tons of Sarasota, Florida; grand children, Aaron, Daniel, Samantha, Sandy, Jordan, Ericka, Lindsey, Lauren and Chelsea; and a great-grandson, Julius. ?á There will be a funeral on Friday, June 10, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Temple Beth El.?áInterment service with military honors will follow at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Cemetery. ?á Arrangements are being handled by Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.?áCondolences may be left online at www.fortmyersmemorial.com
