Theodosia Koklamanis' Obituary
Theodosia Koklamanis, 78, a resident of North Fort Myers, FL passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 23, 2025, in Cape Coral, FL. Born on September 9, 1946, in Nestani, Greece, Theodosia was the cherished daughter of the late Peter and Dina (Gountanis) Katris.
A devout member of her Greek Orthodox church communities in both Florida and Wisconsin, Theodosia deeply enjoyed being part of the church celebrations and participating in weekly masses. She was one of the few parishioners entrusted with baking the specialty breads, a testament to her dedication and skill.
Theodosia had a profound love for gardening and cooking, two passions that brought her immense joy. She was the true matriarch of her family, devoted to their well-being and always available to provide comfort and wisdom. Her family members often found peace and solace after speaking with her about anything and everything.
Theodosia’s legacy of love, devotion, and community spirit will be remembered fondly by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Constantine and her son, Odysseas.
Theodosia is survived by her loving son, Peter Koklamanis and his wife, Jeanette of Kenosha, WI; three siblings, Sophia Assouris and her husband, Theodore of Greece, Georgia Kaldis and her husband, Tom of Chicago, IL and George Katris and his wife, Maria of Greece; one adored grandson, Constantine of Kenosha, WI; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Services are being held in Wisconsin, more details to come.
