Thomas Peter Hoolihan, 86, of North Fort Myers, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2020. He was born November 18, 1933 in Detroit, MI to John Joseph and Madeline ((Nesbit) Hoolihan. Mr. Hoolihan is survived by his children: Tom H Read Obituary
Tom Jr, Kerrey, Lynn and family; Thanks to Hazen Carroll, we became good friends with Tom, and condo and boat owners in the Fort Myers area. Our favorite memories of Tom include boat trips to the Bahamas, Dry Tortugas and Great Circle Trip, with Terry, the Schiemans, Connellys, Kindsvaters, Koshays, Gillmans and others. St. Patrick's Day was also high on the list. Not to be forgotten were the many lunches with Tom over the years, the most recent being lunch at the Blue Dog with Tom. Joe Koshay, Andy Connelly and Val. Many great times with Tom included Steve and Julie Saph, and Tom's family. You have our most sincere condolences on Tom's passing. Val Saph and Suzanne Green.
I met Tom about 20 years ago while visiting my brother, Val Saph, at Marinatown. I enjoyed boating on Tom's boat, and also day trips with Tom aboard the boats of many friends Tom had in his life. I have great respect for his business and personal achievement. I am also very proud that Tom grew up in a small town very close to my home town of Marine City in Michigan, and attended the same school I did, Holy Cross Schools.
