Thomas John Kanell, 88, of Bradenton, Florida, passed peacefully on March 6, 2025. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends who cherished his kind heart and unwavering devotion.
Born September 28th, 1936, in Pittsburg PA, Tom dedicated his life to his family and country. A proud veteran of the Korean War. He was a loving and devoted husband to his wife, Patricia, whom he adored throughout their lifetime together. His tireless work ethic was a testament to his commitment to providing for his children: Thomas P. Kanell, William C. Kanell (deceased), Kathleen Cespedes, Diane C. Nauman, and John D. Kanell.
Tom’s legacy extends beyond his immediate family. He leaves behind a vibrant collection of grandchildren: Courtenay Hardy, Bart Thomas Babnew, Jessica Cespedes, Josh, Megan, and Zachary Nauman, and Elysia and Alaura Kanell. His great-grandchildren, Nolan, Dalton, and Deacon Hardy, Aria Babnew, and Emery, Gavin, and Hazel Nauman are his legacy.
Thomas J Kanell will be remembered for his witty humor and ability to make anyone he meets smile. He is now with his beautiful wife Patricia and we will remember him dearly.
