Thomas V. Kennedy Sr.'s Obituary
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the peaceful passing of Thomas V. Kennedy Sr. of North Fort Myers, Florida, on March 21, 2026. He leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories and enduring friendships that will forever be held close by those who knew and loved him.
Thomas was born on November 22, 1956, in Islip, New York, to his late parents, Elaine and Edward Kennedy. In 1976, he made the move to Florida, where he built his life, raised his family, and created countless memories.
He is lovingly survived by his wife Veda, Siblings Patricia, Kathy, Elaine, and Frankie, Children Thomas Jr., Darlene, Michael, and Patrick. Grandchildren Kelsi, Kiersten, Kendall, Abel, Declan, Copper, and Levi. He was preceded in death by his brothers Edward and Johnny Kennedy.
Thomas found his greatest joy in being surrounded by family. He had a true gift for building with his hands and took pride in doing things to perfection. Whether he was working on a project or spending time fishing, he found happiness in life’s simple moments.
His contagious smile, warm presence, and the words “I love you more” will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
Service/ Viewing will be held Memorial Gardens in Fort Myers, FL on 3/30/26 from 1:30-4pm
